Dr Lauren Brown and Dr Mahendra Naidoo join Canopy Cancer Care

We are delighted to announce that Dr Lauren Brown and Dr Mahendra Naidoo joined the Canopy Cancer Care team on 5 March 2025. Their expertise and dedication to patient care will further strengthen our commitment to providing world-class oncology services in New Zealand.

Both doctors have returned to New Zealand after working and studying abroad, most recently in Australia. We are thrilled to welcome them back to contribute to our exceptional clinical team.

Dr Lauren Brown is a highly respected breast oncologist who will be based at our North Shore clinic at 213 Shakespeare Road. Her expertise in breast cancer treatment and patient care will be a valuable addition to our team and the wider Auckland community.

Dr Mahendra Naidoo is a specialist in gastro-intestinal and gynecological cancers. He will be based at our Epsom clinic at Mercy Hospital and will also see patients at our new Ormiston Hospital clinic, expanding access to specialist cancer care for patients in East Auckland.
